 Here's a simple and delicious recipe for One-Pot Spaghetti Aglio e Olio

Ingredients:

- 8 ounces (225g) spaghetti

- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

- 1/4 cup (60ml) extra-virgin olive oil

- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

- 1/4 cup (15g) chopped fresh parsley

- Salt to taste

- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)


Instructions:

1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti and set aside.


2. In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring frequently, until the garlic is golden and fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to let the garlic burn.


3. Return the cooked spaghetti to the pot with the garlic and oil. Toss well to coat the spaghetti evenly with the garlic-infused oil.


4. If the pasta seems dry, add some of the reserved pasta water, a little at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.


5. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt to taste.


6. Serve the spaghetti aglio e olio immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy your quick and flavorful meal!
